# Three-camera conference filming

> The default proconf.lt configuration: three cameras, a video director at the desk, PPT slides composited with the speaker view, and an HD recording for the archive. A single camera is enough for a smaller event; for most conferences we recommend three.

## Two camera configurations

### 1. Three-camera setup (default)

A wide camera, a medium portrait camera, and a close-up. The video director switches shots live as the talk unfolds: wide before the speaker starts, portrait during the talk, close-up for emphasis or audience reaction. Fits conferences, training, panel discussions, and hybrid events with an online stream.

### 2. Single-camera setup

One fixed or operator-controlled camera, no switching. Fits smaller events, internal presentations, training without a stream, or anywhere a basic archive recording is enough. Cheaper, but the picture is less dynamic.

## What to expect on event day

- **Video quality:** HD (1080p). It is the standard for all our filming work, and it is enough for conferences, training, archive, and social clips.
- **Live directing:** a video director at the desk switches shots in real time, syncs with speaker slides, and reacts to the unexpected. The same person watches stream health throughout the event.
- **PPT slide integration:** the speaker's slides feed directly into the video pipeline. We can composite (slide on screen with a small speaker insert in the corner) or switch between full-screen slide and camera shots.
- **Post-event recording:** the HD recording is available on the same event page where the live stream played. Either as a downloadable file for the organiser or for attendees to watch through their econf.ai access.

## When it fits, when it does not

### Good fit

- Professional conference or training that you will publish online or keep for the archive.
- Hybrid event where online viewers should get an experience close to being in the room.
- Panel discussions with multiple speakers (a single camera struggles to follow the back-and-forth).
- Event where you plan to make post-event content (social clips, training material) from the recording.
- Event with sponsors who care about a polished visual representation.

### Not a fit

- Internal team meeting where a Zoom recording is enough.
- Event that does not need to be recorded or streamed.
- Small seminar without speaker slides, where even one camera is overkill.

## What is included with ProConf

- **Three cameras**, wide, medium, and close-up, controlled from a central video desk.
- **Video director**, at the desk, switching shots live and syncing with the slides.
- **PPT slide integration**, from the speaker's laptop into the main video pipeline.
- **HD archive recording**, no extra fee, available after the event.
- **Live feed to the stream**, when filming is paired with private streaming.
- **Recording delivered to attendees or the client**, via the econf.ai page or as a downloadable file.

## Pricing

Filming is part of the event package. A hybrid event with three-camera filming, streaming, and econf.ai platform services starts from:

**from €1,200 (excl. VAT)**

The final price depends on camera count (3 or 1), additional operators, scenography, and the language set. A standalone filming rate (without the platform services) will be published with the [pricing calculator](/en/) in the coming months.

## Frequently asked

### Why three cameras and not two or four?

Three cameras give the director three different shots to switch between: a wide of the room, a portrait of the speaker, and a close-up for detail. Two cameras flatten the picture. Four or more start to make sense for specific formats (large panel, multiple stages), but three is the sweet spot for a typical conference. For smaller events, one camera is enough.

### What resolution does the recording use?

HD (1080p). We film in HD only, which is enough for web publishing, training programmes, company archive, and social clips. We do not offer cinema or exhibition-grade higher resolutions, because conferences and corporate events do not need them.

### Are PPT slides recorded together with the video?

Yes. The speaker's laptop plugs into the video desk, and the director switches between full-slide, camera, or a composite (slide on screen with a small speaker insert in the corner). One stream with PPT integrated, not two separate files to sync up afterward.

### Where is the recording delivered after the event?

The recording is available on the same econf.ai event page that hosted the live stream, with the same access rules (registered attendees or public). A downloadable file for the organiser is delivered through cloud storage within 1 to 3 business days.

### Can you stream and record at the same time?

Yes, that is the default behaviour. The same video signal goes live to the stream, to in-room screens, and to the archive recording. You do not pick one or the other.

### Do you work with the client's own cameras or crew?

Yes. If the client has their own filming team, we can plan an integration: your cameras, our video desk, our streaming infrastructure. Or the inverse, your streaming, our filming. We agree on the signals and formats ahead of time so it works on the day.

### Does the stage need special lighting for filming?

It is better when the lighting is designed with cameras in mind (enough light on faces, no backlight shadows, no spotlights pointed at the lens). This is part of ProConf stage lighting; when one partner runs both lighting and filming, the issue does not come up.

### How much does it cost?

Filming is part of the event package. A hybrid event with three-camera filming, streaming, and econf.ai platform services starts from 1,200 EUR excl. VAT. A standalone filming rate (without the platform services) will be published with the pricing calculator in the coming months.
